GoDAM 1.4.6 is here with Elementor updates, Developer SDK, GTM Tracking

GoDAM 1.4.6 is here with new features and updates for developers, marketers, and WordPress users. This release brings the all-new Developer SDK, seamless GTM Tracking integration, and enhanced Media Tab access across editor components. Plus, we’ve expanded camera and audio input support in WordPress forms, improved multisite compatibility for Elementor widgets, and introduced several workflow refinements to make managing your media even smoother. Let’s get into the details:

GoDAM Developer SDK

The GoDAM Developer SDK lets developers programmatically control GoDAM video players, manage playback, and create interactive experiences. It allows you to get player instances, track playback states, and add custom or native video layers like CTAs, quizzes, or forms at specific video timestamps. Developers can dynamically update, dismiss, or synchronize multiple video players on a page. The SDK also includes utility methods for time conversion, volume, and full-screen control. Overall, it gives developers full freedom to build deeply interactive and branded video experiences within WordPress. See our documentation page or the full specification

GTM Tracking

The GoDAM GTM Tracking integration connects your GoDAM videos with Google Tag Manager, enabling precise tracking of video engagement and audience behavior. It automatically sends key video events like start, progress, and completion to GTM, helping you measure engagement, drop-offs, and conversions. With this data, you can optimize video content performance, track ROI across campaigns and take data-driven decisions. You can read full details on documentation section.

GTM tracking works alongside the analytics that GoDAM provides out of the box.

GoDAM Media Tab

The latest update introduces GoDAM’s Media Tab integration to more places inside video editor components, ensuring a unified media selection experience. Users can now access the GoDAM tab directly within the media selection modal when adding CTAs, watermarks, brand logo, and ad video selection, allowing them to easily pick media stored in GoDAM without leaving the editor. This enhancement improves workflow efficiency and keeps asset management centralized. Overall, this update brings GoDAM one step closer to being the all-in-one media hub for WordPress creators.

Wider support for camera & audio input fields in WordPress Forms

GoDAM Form Recorder adds camera and audio input fields to your WordPress Forms, allowing your users to capture and submit video or audio responses from their webcam, screen, or local files as part of their submissions.

Since our initial launch, we’ve heard a lot of positive feedback from creatives, customer care and job application portals. This release widens support to all popular form plugins, including Gravity Forms, WPForms, Fluent Forms, SureForms, Everest Forms & Ninja Forms.
